Eddy Ramírez

Eddy Ramirez is a Canadian immigration lawyer called to the bar in both Ontario and Québec, with years of experience practicing in immigration and administrative law. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and also holds a special permit from the Barreau du Québec as a Canadian Legal Advisor (conseillère juridique canadienne – c.j.c.).

Born in Venezuela, Eddy obtained her law degree from Universidad Católica and is also a member of the Venezuelan Bar Association.

‍She later continued her legal education in Canada at the Université de Montréal, where she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law and a second LL.M. in North American Common Law. She also obtained a diploma in Immigration Law from LaSalle College in Montréal.

Eddy’s practice focuses on complex immigration litigation and administrative law matters, including:

• Mandamus applications against Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
• Appeals and reconsideration of immigration decisions

As part of her litigation practice, Eddy also represents clients in professional negligence claims arising from immigration matters, including civil actions against consultants or representatives whose conduct has caused immigration harm or financial loss.
